Benefits of routine equipment maintenance

When it comes to commercial catering equipment, there’s sometimes a tendency for staff to work the units hard, doing all they can to pump the dishes out of the kitchen, trying to keep your customers happy.  Ofcourse this is a good thing! However, this can also lead to minor problems or issues with units going, unnoticed, unreported, or just forgotten about.

As we all know though, minor problems can lead to MAJOR problems. That’s why it’s a great idea to have a professional look over your equipment, and identify any minor problems which, if not addressed early, could potentially lead to BIG problems for your appliances. And if your experience is anything like mine, things always seem to break down when you least need them to… I’m thinking, Friday afternoon, before a long weekend…!?? And then you have to pay someone to come out after hours, which is never cheap!

A benefit to setting up a PM that is carried out routinely, with KASE anyway, is that you don’t even have to think about it.
